As such, the PM focuses on developing/enhancing key processes needed to deliver the best possible patient experience while upholding and actively promoting Crozer Health core organizational values such as ethical behavior, professional demeanor, accountability, commitment to team, and collaboration. The PM is an institutional steward who focuses on engaging staff, enhancing skills, aligning staff toward common goals, and empowering each team member to act in ways that support the goals, mission, and culture of the institution. Possesses the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, in a clear, concise, positive manner with all stakeholders (internal/external, patients, staff, and visitors). A PM’s primary responsibilities include analyzing, problem-solving, action planning, organizing, improving, implementing, maintaining efficient and effective daily operations, and general management of the practice(s), and other duties, as assigned. The PM reports to the Administrative Director (AD) and works with the AD to actively support and ensure that CHS/CHMG leadership strategic plans, initiatives, financial, and operational goals are achieved in a timely, effective, and positive manner. The PM provides cross coverage of functional areas and works the front-office, back-office, billing, and other administrative functions, as needed, to ensure smooth daily operations.

This position has administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for overseeing the routine business and clinical functions of the practice(s) through hiring, directing, supervising, and training of administrative and clinical staff, such as front desk, billing, medical assistants, medical records, nursing, ancillary services, and other staff to ensure maximum utilization of resources, cross-coverage of functions, and efficient delivery of services of the assigned practice(s). The Practice Manager (PM) takes a leadership role in directing in the day-to-day functions of assigned practice(s) within the network in accordance with the philosophy of Crozer Health Medical Group’s mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
